Mahindra Mojo - Review - 2015 - Auto Expo

The Mojo will feature a 300cc DOHC four valve engine that will produce around 26bhp of power at 8500rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7000rpm.The machine will sport the Ducati electronic fuel injection system that will enhance the performance and at the same time reduce the emissions. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel thorough a six-speed gearbox. The Mojo 300 will also feature a gas charged mono shock, dual exhaust and mirror mounted mirrors.
Mahindra has confirmed to launch this motorcycle this fiscal year. We are expecting it will be launched in 2014 Delhi Auto Expo but the success of this 300cc motorcycle will all depends on its pricing and will compete with recently launched KTM Duke 390.
A single cylinder 300cc, liquid cooled, FI motor that is expected to churn out around 28-30 bhp, it will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Concentrating on being a marathon runner rather than a sprinter, the Mojo will be equipped with circular headlamps which are accentuated by DRLs, a funky instrument cluster, petal disc brake up-front, USD front forks and a lot of gold splattered all over the bike. If the end result comes out as a well engineered, modern product, the Mahindra Mojo could just carve out a niche market for itself, however, we aren’t sure as how many would rather peel or scratch that Mojo moniker away.
