Ecuador: National Assembly Honors Cuban 5

The Ecuadorean National Assembly paid homage on Tuesday to the five Cuban anti-terroristswho were imprisoned in the U.S. following their arrest for monitoring the activities of violent right-wing groups in Miami. The Assembly also honored Oscar Cardoso, a Cuban military official who spent 11 years in captivity in Somalia. The honorees will participate in a public discussion at the International Center for Advanced Studies in Communications for Latin America and other activities before they travel to Bolivia on Sunday. teleSUR
