Brown University has joined the ranks of other universities in rescinding honorary degrees once given to Bill Cosby.
Bill Cosby recently lost three honorary degrees in two days' time.
On Friday, Brown University became the latest school to rescind such an award, following both Fordham and Marquette on Thursday of last week.
Cosby was awarded a doctorate in humane letters by the Ivy League institution in 1985.
The award was based in part on what the university then termed the comedian
