Punk Rock Preschool Uses Music For Teaching

When you were a kid, did you dread the boredom of learning geometry? Well, take a seat in Jarred Geller's preschool classroom and learning will never be dull again! Geller, a second year instructor for Teach For America has integrated punk rock into his classroom to help keep his four year old pupils interested and engaged. These lucky students get to rock out with their air guitars while learning a variety of subjects, including math, science and entrepreneurship! Most recently, Gellar is using his musical flare to help teach his preschoolers about civics, economics and business. They have even started a kickstarter campaign to raise money for animal conservation, construction of a community garden and a trip to California to become educational rock stars!

If you would like to rock out with Jarred Geller and his youngsters at Punk Rock Preschool, you can visit their YouTube Page or follow them Twitter.
