Rising Country star Annie Bosko has released the music video for her second single “Coastin’.” Featuring pop duo High Dive Heart, this undeniable summer anthem brings a fresh wave of California Country.
“Summer isn’t over,” says Bosko, who was recently named one of Rolling Stone Country’s ‘10 New Artists You Need To Know.’ “Plus, everyone has moments year round when they wish they could escape the everyday mundane routine for a “Coastin’” getaway.”
The video was shot, directed and edited by Videographer Patrick Tracy. It’s an ode to Bosko’s home state of California, featuring the iconic beaches of Venice and Malibu. Although she didn’t exactly grow up on the beach, it’s where she recalls her favorite summer memories. In this video, Annie’s personality shines and isn’t afraid to reveal that she is just as goofy as she is alluring.
While it may be unconventional to feature hula dancing, pineapple sunglasses, coconuts, fanny packs, bikini’s and floaties in the traditional Country market, the California native shares that she wanted the video to represent a vibrant, colorful beach fantasy and joined forces with Tracy to virtually bring summer to life and create a party that viewers would want to be a part of. “I love summer and outdoor activities. “Coastin’” is a lifestyle and I wanted to create a video where people could relive that all year long.”
