This Seaweed Tastes Like Bacon

Researchers at Oregon State University have developed a strain of seaweed that people are saying tastes exactly like bacon. Chris Langdon and his colleagues at the Hatfield Marine Science Center have now created and patented a new strain of red marine algae called “dulse” which, when fried, tastes like actual bacon. Researchers say it has twice the nutritional value of the popular superfood kale. The future is here!
