John Karayiannis is a Cypriot singer / songwriter and musician from Limassol, Cyprus.He has been singing and playing music since the age of 6 and had his first vocal lesson at 8. John participated and won first prize at a number of local talent shows all over Cyprus and has passed the Grade8 Vocal exams with distinction.
John recently won the Eurovision Song Project Contest and will represent Cyprus at ESC-2015 in Vienna, with a great song from composer Mike Connaris who handpicked him for the task. His future plans include attending Berklee to study performance - for which he auditioned and passed - and also starting his music career as a performing artist.
