The popular TwinBee series shrinks down for the Game Boy version of Pop’n Twinbee! Though largely standard for a top-down shoot ‘em up, TwinBee’s claim to fame is its juggling—players must shoot and juggle bells to collect points and power-ups. Don’t shoot the bell too many times, though! You may accidentally deactivate a power-up you’ve been working hard to activate! Enemies come in flying swarms that must be blasted, but there are also turret-like enemies on the ground. Fortunately, you can also drop bombs, so it’s all good. A classic shooter and genre standout on the Game Boy, Pop’n Twinbee is a single-player game on the Game Boy.
