South Korean Robot Wins $2 Million DARPA Challenge Grand Prize

One of the biggest robot competitions in the world took place in Pomona, California as 24 robots from 24 teams hailing from all over the world competed in the DARPA Robotics Challenge. South Korean team KAIST took home the $2 million prize with their robot DRC Hubo, Team IMHC Robotics took the second-place $1 million prize with a robot named Running Man, while a team from Carnegie Mellon University won $500,000 with their robot CHIMP.
