Village Fugs Tribute My Baby Steve Espinola

This is a tribute concert honoring the 1965 first album by the Fugs, "The Village Fugs Sing Ballads of Contemporary Protest, Points of View, and General
Dissatisfaction." When this folk-punk album/manifesto was released 42 years ago, it was an outrage, what with its profanely poetic and poetically profane language,
celebrating rampant "free love," impossible drug use, and radical anti-establishment politics. Nowadays, it remains hilarious, inspiring, and one of the most chaotic and brilliantly amateurish performances ever committed to tape.
Singer /songwriter Steve Espinola performs the country music satire My Baby Done Left Me with such fidelity to the original it was picked as the best of the show by one of the Fugs.
