Inappropriate teacher rubs banana on student's head

Teacher touching students: Jonathan Hampton, a North Marion High School teacher, was reprimanded and suspended for allegedly rubbing a banana over a female student's head and neck while discussing phallic symbols in class.

Hampton was leading a discussion on the book One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest while holding a banana he had left over from lunch. Hampton's lawyer claimed that his client only tapped the student with the fruit, but the gesture was still too much for parents in the community to handle, and the student's parents filed a complaint.
