US airlines suspend flights to Mexico City after Popocatepetl volcano spews ash

Four US airlines temporarily suspended flights to and from Mexico City after a volcano near the capital spewed ash on July 4. According to Reuters, three to eight flights on American Airlines, U.S. Airways, Delta Air Lines and Alaska Air Group have been postponed so far. No Mexican airlines have halted operations.
