Detroit homeowner warns then shoots burglar dead

Wannabe burglars beware, the homeowners of Detroit have finally had enough.
This is Grove Street, Detroit. The scene of the fatal shooting of a would-be burglar several days ago.
Local media reports said a man in his 20s was trying to break into a house through a side window late one night last week when he awoke the 54-year old homeowner.
Having been broken into seven times previously, the woman was not prepared to put up with number eight.
So she grabbed a gun and confronted the burglar, warning him to back off or she would shoot.
When he failed to heed her warning she opened fire.
The burglar, hit in the chest, fell to the ground and ran away, but collapsed on the road a short distance away. He died later in hospital.
The woman was questioned by police and later released. It's unclear whether she will face charges.
