Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Tuesday morning and issued two summonses, one for disorderly conduct and the other for riding a bicycle the wrong way on a New York street, police said.
The actor allegedly flipped his lid and started yelling at police after they asked him for ID, which he didn't have on him after he was stopped for riding against traffic on 5th Avenue in the Flatiron District. Baldwin is scheduled to appear in court on July 24.
"Police stated that he got belligerent and started arguing with them and using profanity," Deputy Chief Kim Y. Royster said.
Baldwin then allegedly unleashed a salvo of F-bombs as he was taken to a police car.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and released, so naturally he took to Twitter to whine some more.
"New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign," Baldwin tweeted.
He also tweeted, "Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera."
Baldwin should just move to Taiwan where traffic rules are more like traffic suggestions.
