A high-end California call girl is being held under a $1.5 million bond after her arrest in connection with the death of a 51-year-old Google executive Forrest Hayes.
Alix Tichleman, a high-priced 26-year-old prostitute was arrested on July 4 on charges including murder, prostitution, and destroying evidence in relation to the death of the former Apple and Google executive.
Hayes died on his yacht at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor on November 23 from legal dose of heroin.
Soon after launching their investigation, police discovered the married father of five began a relationship with Tichleman, whom he met through Seeking Arrangements, a website that caters to affluent clients seeking "sugar babies."
According to police, a security camera on the yacht recorded footage of Tichleman stepping over Hayes' body, drinking a glass of wine while gathering her belongings.
Soon after Hayes' death, Tichleman skipped town, but police continued to monitor her through social media. When she posted about her plans to buy a gun and move to Florida, police closed in, local media reported.
Pretending to be a John, a police police officer contacted Tichleman and arranged a July 4th "date" at an upscale country club where she was arrested.
In an interview police said Tichleman boasted she had more than 200 clients who paid upwards of $1,000 for her services.
Police are also looking into another death in which the victim died in similar circumstances.
