Car in pool: drunk driver crashes into pool party with SUV in Lakewood, Ohio

A drunk SUV driver, Cheryl Chapman, drove her vehicle through a wooden fence on Friday, and made a splash landing in the pool owned by Trent Wilson of Lakewood, Ohio.
Wilson's first pool party of the year was going great until around 6 pm when Chapman literally crashed the party with her Jeep Liberty SUV.
Wilson lives on Edgewater road, near West 117th St. An inebriated Chapman was driving her SUV down Lake Ave where she hit a car before turning into the driveway behind Wilson's party.
Partygoer, Christopher Sanford, had just jumped into the water when Chapman came crashing through a wooden fence and landed in the pool.
"I hit the water and heard an explosion," Sanford said, "I turned around and there's a Jeep in the pool."
Sanford acted quick to free Chapman from her seat belt and pull her through the open window. Wilson said that people spend about 80 percent of their time at that end of the pool but luckily, nobody was injured by Chapman's dramatic entrance.
