Shark swimmer: Boston man jumps into New England Aquarium shark tank
  • 9 years ago
Stephen Pellegrine of Boston had a few too many before heading to the New England Aquarium over the weekend.

Using his impaired judgment, Pellegrine decided he needed better access to these massive sea predators, and so he decided to quite literally 'swim with the fishes'.

Fortunately for him, the sharks had just been fed and were in no mood for a nibble of 51-year-old drunk man.

Pellegrine was pulled to safety and then arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

The tank Pellegrine jumped into at the Boston Aquarium is 27-feet deep and contains sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, eels and fish.

Authorities said Mr Pellegrine was very lucky to have escaped serious injury as very few sharks are known to be vegetarian.
