Knife in head: Chinese man catches knife in head while walking down street in Guangyuan

A Chinese man named Xiao is lucky to be alive after he was unlucky enough to get hit by a falling knife on Monday.
Xiao was walking near River Street in Guangyuan when, four stories up, a man identified as Wu was tending to some flowers with an 8-inch knife he says he left sitting on the flower pot.
Wu says the wind must have blown the knife off the pot and sent it tumbling downwards. The blade lodged itself in Xiao’s head, but for some reason Xiao hardly noticed and walked about 100 yards before someone pointed out the knife handle sticking out of the left side of his head.
Xiao said he was overcome with pain and felt faint as onlookers helped call an ambulance. Fortunately, the blade did not pierce his skull. Doctors were able to remove the knife, and Xiao is on his way to a full recovery.
