Defying both polls and pundits, British Prime Minister David Cameron and his Conservative Party scored a major victory in the UK general election - with Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage all resigning. Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stitched up a last-minute deal to form a coalition government with the far-right Jewish Home Party. And Jean-Marie Le Pen, the founder of the far-right National Front, was suspended from his own party after repeating a series of anti-Semitic barbs.
