This video lecture from Electrochemistry (F.Sc. first year Chemistry) covers the technique to balance a redox reaction equation using the oxidation number method. The oxidation numbers of all elements in the compounds are first identified and then the change is observed to see which element is oxidizing and which one is reducing.
