Brooks Orpik Takes Skate to His Face, Also Gets Hit With Beer

Brooks Orpik had a rough night to say the least when the Washington Capitals took on the New York Islanders in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup playoff series. Late in the first period of the Capitals’ 2-1 overtime win against the Islanders Orpik's face got sliced open by teammate John Carlson’s skate blade. Orpik got nailed again at the end of contest after an Islanders fan chucked a beer that hit the defensemen right in the face.
