Student murders missionary: ax-wielding Japanese student strangles elderly woman to death

A university student was arrested for murdering a 77-year-old woman in her own apartment in the central Japanese city of Nagoya last week.

The elderly woman, who worked as a missionary, had first met the student when she invited her to attend a church event.

Seeking advice, the student reportedly got in touch with the missionary and the two agreed to meet for lunch, after which the elderly woman invited the student back to her residence.

Once inside the evangelist’s home, the student allegedly grabbed an ax and knocked the other woman down onto the ground before using the missionary’s very own scarf to strangle her to death.

The student next calmly dragged the dead body into a bathroom and when the deceased religious woman’s friends came calling, told them that she’d stepped out, but that she’d be back later that afternoon.

Apparently a master of the macabre, the truly disturbed student went on to post this grim message onto her Facebook account: “There are many people interested in killing, just to see what it would feel like.”

When police found their way back to the student she reportedly confessed, claiming she’d always wondered what it would be like to kill someone.
