Town Plans To Install Owl Warning Signs Following Attacks On Residents

Most people wouldn't feel threatened by an owl, but what many individuals don't realize is that owl attacks are actually quite common. Residents of Salem, Oregon are being warned about an aggressive owl, or possibly a few of them that could become violent.

We have all seen yellow caution signs alerting us to various animals that share the road with us.

Now, thanks to MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show", the city of Salem, Oregon will get some creative signs warning residents about aggressive owls.

City officials had already put up some written warning signs at a public park and popular jogging spot following some recent attacks on residents by owls.

When word of the attacks spread, the story appeared on MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show" and the host held up some comical warning signs to make light of the situation.

The viral clip resulted in many laughs, but not too many people expected the city to actually use the signs after being contacted by the show's employees.
