Shantae and the Pirate's Curse - Dash Glitch

This glitch allows you to dash from small platforms or enclosed spaces. In this video, the glitch can be used to skip about 90% of the Mud Bog Island labyrinth, Oubliette of Suffering. It can also be used to reach certain items without needing items like Risky's Cannon.
How to do the glitch:
Hold left on either the analog stick or d-pad, and whilst holding left, press right on the other (Ie: Hold the analog stick left whilst pressing right on the d-pad, or vice versa). Shantae will walk back and forth when you press right, but the dash countdown will not reset, allowing you to dash from small spaces.
This glitch was done on the Wii U version. I don't know if it will work on the 3DS version or not.
