Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Bram Stoker’s Dracula for the Game Boy developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Sony Imagesoft. Released the year after Francis Ford Coppola’s film of the same name, Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a simple action platformer with a Castlevania-like aesthetic. Players control Jonathan Harker, played by Keanu Reeves, as he tries to kill the one and only Dracula. The game isn’t long, but it controls much better than you might expect from a game based on a movie, particularly one released in 1993. Players can find weapons like axes and knives to throw at the skeletons and demons and all the horrible monsters trying to vanquish them. Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a single-player game on the Game Boy. This video review features video gameplay footage of Bram Stoker’s Dracula for the Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
