On Tuesday, a 9-year-girl in Indianapolis became the victim of a shooting just as she was getting ready to sell Girl Scout cookies. The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. when Sinai Miller had been headed to a clubhouse near her home to pick up the cookies.

The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. when Sinai Miller had been headed to a clubhouse near her home to pick up the cookies.

Her plans were to start knocking on doors in her neighborhood right away to sell them, however, that was put on hold after the shots pierced the air. According to police, the gunman was in a blue SUV.

Sinai ran when she heard the shots and even though she was struck by a round, she was still able to make it inside her home.
