It's a troubled world says world renowned economist Paul Krugman. In an exclusive chat with ET NOW, the Nobel laureate says Europe is in deep trouble, and the situation is scary in China. A real estate bubble is waiting to burst in the Mainland and the fiscal slippage is visible right from the municipality levels. India, he says in contrast, is better off and could take up the lead role - provided the government gets its act together. Krugman says US maybe showing some signs of a recovery, but it has no clout to take the rest of the world along. Listen in to this former Professor of Economics at Princeton’s assessment of the world in full detail here.
