Indonesia is rushing to identify victims from AirAsia's plane crash.

(SOUNDBITE) (Bahasa Indonesia) HEAD OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH UNIT OF INDONESIA POLICE, ARTHUR TAMPI, SAYING:

"This morning there are six bodies that we will identify, and we hope we will be able to identify six more bodies in the evening."

Officials worry that the process is becoming difficult, because bodies have been in the water for a whole week.

Search teams have recovered at least 30 bodies so far and hope to take advantage of a break in the weather.

They're also looking to retrieve five large objects on the sea bed.

These are photos of plane debris that looks to be windows of the aircraft, brought back a few days ago.

Search teams hope to locate the flight recorders, to help explain why the plane crashed into the Java Sea, 40 minutes after taking off.
