Abandoned migrant ship arrives in Italy

Hundreds of migrants on the Ezadeen arrive at a port in Italy, relieved to reach dry land.

Their ship's crew had abandoned them on Thursday in the choppy seas of the Mediterranean.

The vessel was sailing under the flag of Sierra Leone and had run out of fuel.

Coast guards had to use a helicopter to get on board and take control.

They say they're not sure where the passengers are from, but they suspect the ship was abandoned deliberately by smugglers.

Ezadeen has been the third migrant ship found off the coast of Italy in the past two weeks.
