Panel 2: R2P in Practice - Policy Approaches Since 2005, will consider the spectrum of global policy responses to R2P-related threats and crises since 2005. Speakers will reflect on international efforts to engage across the crisis continuum and evaluate an array of policy approaches, ranging from international assistance and stabilization to crisis diplomacy and coercive action. While not limited to listed cases, each panel will draw lessons from a cluster of crises chosen to reflect the range of challenges and opportunities faced in developing direct R2P policies. Comparisons between and beyond these cases are encouraged."
