Doctor in Sierra Leone clinic fights Ebola solo

With no pay and drastically low resources, 30-year-old Dr. Sekou Kanneh finds it his mission to fight Ebola in this one-doctor Sierra Leone clinic.

Solo, he dresses himself in protective gear before treating Ebola patients at the Hastings Treatment Center on the outskirts of capital Freetown.

He says they make due with what they can.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) 30-YEAR-OLD JUNIOR DOCTOR, SEKOU KANNEH, SAYING:

"We don't have the sophisticated equipment, we don't have all the things that people think that you need to fight Ebola. But even if we don't have, we improvise. We try to do our best."

Christian clergyman James Showers visits those in the clinic still suffering from the deadly virus.
