A wave of unrest followed the Ferguson grand jury's failure to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teen Michael Brown. After a lengthy deliberation, the grand jury determined that there was insufficient evidence to convict Officer Wilson in the Brown case. Riots ensued after the judgement was handed down and at least 61 people have been arrested, 12 buildings were burned in downtown Ferguson. Police say these are the worst protests since Brown's shooting. Further demonstrations will be held in cities across the US to show solidarity with the people of Ferguson. teleSUR
