Worms video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Worms for the Game Boy developed by Team 17 and published by Ocean.
The original Worms was released for pretty much every platform imaginable, including platforms you wouldn’t imagine for Worms. Platforms like the original Game Boy. A streamlined version of the classic strategy game, Worms makes some sacrifices in terms of presentation and content in order to fit on Nintendo’s handheld. There are three simple game modes, none of which seems all that different from the other two, and a relatively small selection of weapons. Nonetheless, the gameplay is still very Worms. Players take turns blowing up their opponents worms, moving strategically across the map until they’ve vanquished the enemy. Even with barebones presentation, Worms is still fun on the original Game Boy.
