Godzilla review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Godzilla for the Game Boy developed by Compile and published by Toho.

This is probably the last thing you’d expect from a Godzilla game. Unless you associate giant monsters with puzzles, for some reason. In which case, this is the first thing you’d expect from a Godzilla game. There’s no stomping on buildings or breathing fire in this game—instead, there are puzzles. Lots and lots of puzzles. Godzilla is a surprise on the Game Boy, and not just for its genre, but also for its quality. It’s a well-designed and highly enjoyable puzzle game in which Godzilla must avoid enemies and crush all the rocks in each stage. Hey, it wouldn’t be Godzilla unless something got crushed. Godzilla includes monsters like Baragon, Hedorah and an invincible Ghidorah! Better solve those puzzles quick, you adorable little monster!

This video review features video gameplay footage of Godzilla for the Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
