Ukrainian Girl Miraculously Unharmed After Arena Facade Glass Crashes Down

A Ukrainian girl is incredibly lucky to be alive after the glass façade of a stadium in Donetsk shattered and fell to the ground. CCTV footage captured the terrifying moments before, during and after the glass fell down near her.
A Ukrainian girl is incredibly lucky to be alive after the glass façade of a stadium in Donetsk dropped to the ground and shattered on impact. CCTV footage captured the terrifying moments before, during and after the glass fell down near her.
Not only did the girl survive, but miraculously she didn’t even get hurt. The falling glass is the result of blast damage from shelling.
As the girl was walking outside the stadium, a loud blast could be heard. Almost immediately a side of the building began tumbling down. The girl dropped to the ground and as she was lying there, huge pieces of glass struck the pavement right next to her.
Another individual ran to the girl, helped her up and together they ran away from the area.
The interim executive manager of the arena commented “A part of the facade glass crashed, a large area of it with critical damage. The inner facilities also were hit. We are assessing the damage at the moment, blocking the dangerous areas.”
Local residents were warned to stay away from the arena at all times. The western and eastern parts of the building are said to have encountered the most damage.
