The three-member jazz choir group began as Swing Girls in 2006, changed their name to Jazz Lady in 2008 and again to J. Lady’s in 2011. Their music is based on jazz but is fused with other different genres of music. They have accumulated experience performing in many jazz clubs and street performances and released their first EP album “Sweet for You” in July. This album conveys their own unique lovely music style and fresh harmony between the three members to make jazz more approachable to listeners not acquainted to jazz.

wHool was formed in 2003 with the team name meaning “empty the mind and begin anew.” They released their first album “Golden Throw” in Germany, followed by performances in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Egypt among other countries around the world. Their music adds electronic and rock sounds to the traditional Korean rhythms, receiving favorable responses by listeners globally. In September, they released the awaited first domestic album “Pink Blossom Party” and began communicating with fans in Korea. wHOOL’s music encompasses traditional folk music, palace music, pop music added to the traditional Korean music, fusing various sentiments and creating a whole new arena uniquely their own, approaching modern people initially uninterested in traditional music. Their music, crossing the borders of West and East, depicts true globalization of traditional music.

2006년 스윙걸즈, 2008년 재즈 레이디, 2011년 제이 레이디즈로 활동을 하고 있는 여성 3인조 재즈 콰이어 그룹으로 재즈를 기반으로 다양한 장르의 음악을 친숙하고 편안하게 들려주는 팀이다. 이들은 많은 재즈 클럽과 길거리 공연을 통해 실력을 쌓아 지난 7월, 사랑에 빠진 연인들의 달콤한 이야기를 테마로 한 첫 번째 EP앨범를 발표했다. 이 앨범을 통해 제이 레이디즈 만의 사랑스럽고 재기 발랄한 음악적 색깔을 보여주며, 세 멤버의 귀엽고 상큼한 하모니로 재즈에 익숙하지 않는 이들에게 보다 쉽게 다가가고자 한다.

'마음을 비우고 새롭게 하다' 라는 의미로 2003년에 결성한 훌은 독일 현지에서 첫 앨범 황금투구를 발표하며 프랑스, 스위스, 벨기에, 네덜란드, 이집트 등 외국을 주무대로 활발한 활동을 하고 있다. 이들은 한국의 전통 리듬 위에 일렉트로닉과 록적인 사운드를 더한 색다른 음악으로 세계적인 호응을 얻었고, 지난 9월 드디어 국내에서 첫 앨범 를 발표해 본격적으로 국내 팬들과의 음악 소통을 하고 있다. 전통에 바탕을 두고 창작과 재구성을 통하여 민요에서부터 궁중음악, 대중음악까지 다양한 감성이 녹아있는 훌만의 음악으로 전통음악에 무관심한 현대인들에게 한국 음악의 우수성을 보여줌과 동시에 동서양의 경계를 무너뜨리며 진정한 의미에서의 국악의 현대화를 보여주고 있다.
