John David Jackson (born November 18, 1977), better known by his stage name, Fabolous, is an American hip hop recording artist from Brooklyn, New York.
His first release was the 2001 Ghetto Fabolous, which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n (Holla Back)". His second release was the 2003 album Street Dreams, which spawned the two top-10 hits "Can't Let You Go" with Lil' Mo and Mike Shorey, and "Into You", with Tamia/ Ashanti.
He is also known for his songs, "Breathe", "Make Me Better" from the 2007 album From Nothin' to Somethin', "My Time" and "Throw It in the Bag" from his album Loso's Way. Fabolous is also signed to Diddy's Ciroc Management company.

Fabolous, de son vrai nom John Jackson (18 novembre 1977 à Brooklyn, New York – ), est un rappeur américain.
Il commence le rap dans les années 1990 et sort son premier single intitulé If They Want It sous le nom de Fabolous Sport. Cette chanson est récupérée par DJ Clue qui l’inclut dans sa mixtape DJ Clue: The Professional. Fabolous deviendra la tête d’affiche du label Desert Storm Records. Le rappeur continue à travailler et apparaît sur d’autres projets avec DJ Kool Kid ou Jadakiss.
Mais sa carrière prend son essor en 2001 avec Can’t Deny It, une reprise du titre de 2Pac, Ambitionz Az a Rider, dans laquelle il collabore avec Nate Dogg. Le morceau sera un avant-goût de son premier album, Ghetto Fabolous, qui sera un succès et deviendra disque de platine. Sa fraicheur et sa jeunesse sont un atout que Fabolous exploite. Il est un des premiers rappeurs de la Côte Est à adopter le style bling bling de la Côte Ouest.
