Haute couture summerwear heats up Buenos Aires runways

STORY: Fashion was heating up in Buenos Aires on Tuesday (August 12) as the latest spring and summer designs hit the runway at the Buenos Aires Fashion Week.

On the first day of the four-day spectacular, fashionistas got a glimpse of a wide range of fashions from "Las Pepas", "Roma Renom" and "Nous Etudions" as the warmer months approach in the Southern Hemisphere.

The show kicked off with "Las Pepas" collection by designer Eva Nowodworski. One-by-one, models strode down the catwalk wearing light, thin outfits with a variety of prints. Colours like bubble gum pink, sky blue, lime yellow and metallic sunflower were prominent in her new eclectic collection.

An attentive public applauded between collections, debuting at the La Rural, an exhibition centre in the Argentine capital city.
