Giant Air-Hockey-Like Table Brings Physics of Space to Earth

The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory has developed a Gravity Offset Table that can mimic the effects of space on Earth. It’s essentially a massive air hockey table that fights gravity, allowing objects placed on top of it to float.
