Rio de Janeiro, Jul 14 (EFE), (Camera: Juan Yagüe).- Germany was crowned World Champion for the fourth time in history after winning the final against Argentina at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Bayern München player Mario Götze's goal in the 113th minute of the double overtime gave the Germans the title.
Germany won the Cup in 1954, 1974 and 1990, the last one 1-0 against Argentina thanks to Andreas Brehme's goal during the penalty round.
