Log-Carrying Semi Collides With Train in Florida

A shocking accident recently occurred in Plant City, Florida involving a semi-truck and a train.
A shocking accident recently occurred in Plant City, Florida involving a semi truck and a train. On a Wednesday morning, a CSX Corporation freight train and a massive truck, which had been carrying logs, collided leaving behind vast amounts of wood on and around the tracks.

In the end, the truck was left severed in half. Despite the horrible damage, the driver, identified as Roberto Febles was, for the most part, unharmed.
He did encounter minor injuries and was transported to the hospital following the crash. He has since been treated and released. No one on the train was injured.
Given that there are no electronic signals at the crossing, he simply tried to drive over them. It is unclear why he did not see or hear the approaching train.
Right after the semi crossed over the tracks, the train plowed into the vehicle. The train continued pushing the truck approximately 1,000 feet down the tracks.
No charges have been filed, but both police and CSX authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
