Roger Waters was a primary creative force in Pink Floyd from 1965 to 1983 and wrote 'The Wall' in 1979. The Wall -- Live in Berlin was a live concert performance held in Berlin, Germany, on 21 July 1990, to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall eight months earlier. The show had a sell-out crowd of over 250,000 people, and right before the performance started the gates were opened which enabled another 100,000 people to watch. Fifty-two countries broadcasted the event. Guest performers include: Scorpions, Cyndi Lauper, Sinéad O'Connor, Van Morrison , Marianne Faithfull, Bryan Adams and many more.
