Syrian rebels capture vital military command post

Syrian rebels have captured a government command centre in Latakia. A combined force led by Ahrar al-Sham and Jabhat al-Nusra overwhelmed troops stationed at the military and communications post. Most of the people in the area are supporters of Syrian President Bashar al Assad. The region is the historic heartland of Assad's clan and his Alawite sect. Al Jazeera's Anita McNaught reports.
