Rolling Stones cancel concerts; Kanye West gets probation

Not surprisingly, the Rolling Stones have canceled their concerts in Australia. The cancellation comes after Mick Jagger's girlfriend, L'Wren Scott, was found dead in her New York apartment on Monday (March 17). The Rolling Stones had been due to kick off a six-concert Australia and New Zealand leg of their tour on Wednesday (March 19) in Perth. The Stones said in a statement that they are planning to reschedule the shows at a later date.

Kanye West was placed on a two-year probation on Monday (March 17) after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges stemming from an altercation with a photographer last year. In addition to the probation, West will have to complete 240 hours of community service and 24 anger management sessions. The rapper will be formally booked but will not have to spend any time in jail.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown was not so lucky. The singer was ordered by a Los Angeles judge to remain in jail at least until his April 23 probation violation hearing. B
