STORY: Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet was honored with the 2,520th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday (March 17), four days before the release of her latest film, "Divergent.''
The actress, whose breakthrough role came in James Cameron's epic blockbuster film "Titanic," was joined by throngs of fans and co-stars past and present, including Kathy Bates and Shailene Woodley, who helped the English actress celebrate her star, which was placed at the famed intersection of Hollywood and Vine.
Winslet took to the stage with thanks for the large crowds, despite Los Angeles experiencing a 4.4 earthquake earlier in the day.
