Join host Michael Feinstein as he leads you through the history of music videos in Soundes: A Musical History.

Over 1800 3-minute music videos were made in the 1940s, featuring artists such as Nat King Cole, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, Les Paul, Doris Day, and many more. They were viewed on giant video jukeboxes called Panorams; these were placed in bars, night clubs, etc. The show also has commentary from Wynton Marsalis, George Duke, Hugh Hefner and film historian Leonard Maltin.
