On board with Davey Todd #742 racing his KTM 450smr in the Open Elite class Final at Three sisters race circuit. Davey gets a good start which puts him in the lead, and he pushes hard in the first couple of laps to pull a gap over 2nd place rider and British Champion Chris Hodgson, and 3rd place rider and multi-time British Champion Christian Iddon. On the start of thee 3rd lap Davey pushes too hard into a corner and crashes, snapping the clutch lever off his bike and so making it very difficult for him to get going again. Davey had already had a crash in Qualifying in which he cracked and knuckle and had possibly broke his hand, but he carried on riding even with the restriction of movement. Davey managed to work his way all the way back up to 13th place (with no clutch lever) after being almost half a lap down on the back of the pack and he still put in the 3rd fastest lap time of the race on his final lap, lap 12.
