Disney’s wintertime tale Frozen comes to Nintendo handhelds in Olaf’s Quest. This is a 2D platformer in the classic style. Players control the snowman on a journey from the left side of the screen to the right. Along the way, you can collect two different groups of items—there are three hidden flowers and a bunch of other things, varying from level to level. The more of those things you can collect before you reach the goal, the higher your score. Each level scores players out of three stars, much like the mobile hit Angry Birds. The simple gameplay and familiarity of the scoring system makes Disney Frozen: Olaf’s Quest an excellent choice for young gamers who enjoyed the film and are just learning the ropes of gaming. Disney Frozen: Olaf’s Quest is a single-player platformer.
