Swing that Music Dixieland Pipers 1980
Dixieland Pipers. This was an excellent band which excelled in the late seventies and early eighties with Bert the Kort on cornet, Dick Sleeman on trombone and Jan Morks on clarinet.
Bert de Kort had left the Dutch Swing College in the late seventies and rejoined that band again in the late nineties.
iIn my music career I have been able to listen to and to play with many excellent clarinet players. It is my opinion that Jan Morks is the best clarinettist from Holland. In this session he plays with the Dixieland Pipers being featured at the celebration of the 35th jubilee party of the Dutch Swing College Band in 1980.
Jan Morks was a member of the DSC as well in late fifties.
