Clamour for Bharat Ratna for Atal Bihari Vajpayee

A fresh round of debate is ensuing between political parties over India's top civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna. The BJP has reiterated that former Prime Minister and BJP Patriach Atal Bihari Vaypayee can't be ignored when it comes to conferring Bharat Ratna to deserving Indians. Leaders from across the political spectrum have strong opinions about the same. In fact the JDU too has backed Vajpayee as a strong contender for Bharat Ratna.
